Food Safety
Food safety is an important part of our Hostel Kitchen Mess, so our facilitators ensure participants diligently carry out safe practices at all times.

MAPS incorporates safe food-handling practices in various ways–verbally, through kitchen signage and by providing simple handouts.

Basic Food-Safety Guidelines

We ensure to implement carefully these guidelines among our Kitchen Mess staff and members.

Personal Hygiene
Wash the hands properly.
Wash the hands when staff / members first get to the kitchen.
Wash the hands anytime when hands become self contaminated.
Always tie long hair back or wear a hat or hairnet while cooking.
